Questions

What people ask before they say yes.

Short answers, no hedging. Where we have not decided something yet, this page says so instead of inventing a policy. If what you need is not here, email us and we will add it.

The build

How does this actually work?

We look for a Las Vegas business whose website is costing it work. We build the replacement, put it on a preview link and send the link. The first thing you ever see from us is the finished site, not a pitch.

Looking costs nothing and commits you to nothing. If you want it, we put it on your domain and the plan starts. If you would rather keep the site you have, nothing happens.

Do I have to meet with anyone first?

No. There is no discovery call, no proposal document and no meeting to book. The site is the proposal.

Is Redrock Plumbing a real customer?

No. Redrock Plumbing is a fictional business we built to show what the rebuild looks like end to end. The phone number in it does not ring anywhere and the shop does not exist.

Can you use my logo, my photos and my own words?

Yes. Send what you have and we build with it. Where you do not have photographs, we use licensed stock and tell you which images are licensed rather than yours, so you always know what is what.

What if I already have a site I like?

Then keep it. We are not going to argue with a website that is already doing its job.

Owning it

Who owns the site?

You do. The pages, the copy and the images licensed for the build are yours, and a full export is available whenever you ask for it.

Who owns the domain?

You do. It is registered in your name, not ours. If we register it on your behalf, your name is still the one on the record, and it transfers out whenever you ask.

What happens if I cancel?

Ask for the export and we send the site: the files, the images and the content. The domain goes with you. There is no cancellation fee and no term to buy out, because the plan is month to month.

Can I get a copy while I am still paying?

Yes. Full export whenever you ask. You do not have to be leaving to ask for it, and asking for one is not a cancellation.

Does the site come down if I stop paying?

Hosting is part of the plan, so the copy we host stops being served when the plan ends. What you keep is the export and the domain, and you can put the site anywhere you like with them.

The phone line

What does the receptionist actually do?

It answers the phone in your business's name, asks what is going on, offers a time, books it, and texts you a summary with the name, the address and what was said. The full transcript goes to your inbox.

The call on the homepage is a demonstration of that sequence, not a recording of a real customer.

Does it call anyone?

No. It is inbound only. It answers calls that come to your line. It does not dial out, and there are no cold calls or outbound campaigns attached to it.

What is the difference between the two receptionist settings?

After hours, $79 a month. It picks up when the shop is closed and when a call rings out with nobody there.

24 hours, $149 a month. It answers every call the same way, all day.

Both run on the same line, and you can switch from one to the other any month.

Does it speak Spanish?

With the bilingual add-on at $29 a month, the calls and the text messages work in English and Spanish.

Will callers know they are not talking to a person?

It answers as your business and it says it is an assistant when it is asked. It is not set up to pretend to be a named employee.

What happens on something urgent?

How urgent jobs get routed is set up with you when the line is switched on, because every shop handles them differently. Some want a text, some want the call forwarded, some want it held until morning. We do not set a default and then surprise you with it.

Money

What is in $149 a month?

The plan is the site and everything needed to keep it working:

  • The site, on your domain
  • Hosting, SSL and monitoring
  • Unlimited edit requests
  • Missed call text back
  • Review requests after the job
  • A monthly report

Everything else is a switch on the pricing page.

Why does everything stop at $349 a month?

Because switching every add-on on one at a time comes to $620 a month, and charging the larger number because somebody clicked every switch is a bad way to start. If what you pick adds up past $349 a month, you pay $349 a month.

Is there a setup fee or a contract?

No setup fee, no contract, no minimum term and no cancellation fee. The plan is month to month. The build already happened before you saw it, so there is nothing to charge for starting.

When is the first charge?

After you have seen the site and told us to make it live. The card goes in at that point, not before, and the first month starts the day the site is on your domain.

Can I turn an add-on off?

Any month. It comes off the next invoice. Run the receptionist through the summer and switch it off in November if that is how your year goes.

How do I pay?

By card, processed by Stripe. The card number goes to Stripe, not to us, and we never see or store it.

Us

How fast do edits happen?

Send the change to [email protected] and we make it. Edit requests are unlimited on every plan and there is no change order fee.

We have not published a turnaround time, so we are not going to promise one here. When there is a number we can stand behind, it will go on this page.

Who is DirecSites?

DirecSites is a division of Direcstaff LLC, at 9550 South Eastern Avenue, Suite 253, Las Vegas, Nevada 89123. The sites are built here, for businesses here.

How do I get in touch?

Email [email protected]. There is no phone number and no contact form on this site, so email is the way in. The contact page has the entity and the address.

Still holding a question this page did not answer?

Send it over. If it is a fair question, the answer goes up here for the next person.
